1. Introduction

Welcome to Printables ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Printables mobile and web application (the "App").

By using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Usage data: Anonymous usage events (screen views, feature interactions) collected via Firebase Analytics. This data is associated with a randomly generated device identifier, not your name.
Account email (optional): If you choose to create an account or link an email address, we store that email address to identify your account and send transactional messages.
Health and activity data (on-device only): With your explicit permission, the App may read step counts or water intake from Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Google Health Connect (Android). This data is processed on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers.
Plan progress: Your progress through wellness plans (completed days, tracker entries) is stored in Firestore under your account so you can sync across devices.

We do not collect payment information. We do not collect biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, or contact lists.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the App and its features.
Sync your plan progress across your devices.
Understand aggregate usage patterns to prioritise new features.
Send you transactional emails related to your account (e.g., sign-in links).
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for behavioural advertising or to build advertising profiles.

4. Information Sharing

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Firebase / Google: We use Google Firebase as our backend infrastructure (authentication, database, hosting, analytics). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by its own data processing terms.
Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or others.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and plan progress for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Aggregated, anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate personal data.
Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
Port your data to another service.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at hello@personalized.app and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
